Our responsibility

Fashion that
respects the earth.

At Kajalandco, luxury and responsibility are not opposites. We are committed to building a brand that is as careful about its footprint as it is about its craftsmanship.

Our approach

Thoughtful at every step.

Sustainability at Kajalandco is not a campaign — it is a standard woven into how we make decisions. From the fabrics we select to the packaging we ship in, every choice is measured against the question: is this the most responsible way to do this?

We believe the fashion industry has a responsibility to do better, and premium fashion has even less excuse not to lead. Our collections are curated, not mass-produced — which means less waste, more intention, and a longer life for every piece we put into the world.

"We curate fewer, better pieces — so nothing we make is disposable."

— Ms. Kajal, Co-Founder

Our commitments

Six pillars of responsible fashion.

Ethical Sourcing

Every fabric and material is traced to suppliers who meet our ethical standards — fair wages, safe conditions, and transparent supply chains. We won't cut corners to cut costs.

Circular Design

We design with end-of-life in mind. Pieces are constructed to be repaired, restyled, and eventually returned to the material cycle rather than landfill.

Sustainable Packaging

All Kajalandco packaging is plastic-free, made from recycled or FSC-certified materials, and designed to be reused or composted by the customer.

Water Stewardship

Fashion is one of the world's most water-intensive industries. We actively source low-water fabrics and work only with dye facilities that treat and recycle waste water.

Carbon Accountability

We are working toward a fully carbon-neutral operation by 2026 — measuring our emissions across logistics, production, and retail, and offsetting what we cannot yet eliminate.

Community Impact

A portion of every collection's revenue supports artisan training programmes and women's empowerment initiatives across India's textile communities.

Our progress

Holding ourselves accountable.

We publish our sustainability progress annually. These are our current milestones — tracked honestly, shared openly.
